Advice for teams playing at Elm Grove

I play for the Dock and am emailing you regarding an incident that happened about a month ago.  We were playing at Hoylake's ground and in order to access the ground you have to cross Elm Grove level crossing.  On the morning of the game 2 under cover British Transport Police where watching the crossing at Elm Grove for any people not using the Crossing in the correct manner. They observed around 24 people not using the telephone to get permission from the signal man and for also not closing the gate. These people have been mainly let off with a warning.  ( since it was the first time)  My view is that in the future they will not take this softly approach and you can be find up to £1000 and also have points put against your licence. I was thinking maybe whoever does your website could possibly put something on here just to warn players and management in advance to make sure that they use the telephone to and also to close the gate.  Your view maybe that people should know the rules and therefore abide by them, but you would be surprised just how many people didn't know that they have to ring the signal man first and also that they should close the gate
