Note: OFFICIALS’ FEES ARE PAYABLE BY THE HOME CLUB AND NOT SHARED

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REFEREES

The following information is extracted from the Association Competition Rules for easy basic guidance.  Match Officials should study the whole of the Rules and Regulations that appear in the Association Handbook supplied.

On receipt of appointment you should confirm or reject the same WITHIN THREE DAYS to the Honorary Referees’ Secretary, Mr J Davies 645 2707. After the game, Referees MUST forward the result to the Assistant Honorary Secretary Mr K F Mighall, 12 Dorchester Park, Noctorum Wirral CH43 9HD within three days.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH EITHER OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD EFFECT FUTURE APPOINTMENTS WITH BOTH DISTRICT F.A. AND COUNTY ASSOCIATIONS.

Extra time to be played in ALL TIES. If the score is level at the end of extra time the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by the International Football Association Board.

REFEREES FAILING TO SUBMIT A MATCH CARD WILL BE FINED THE SUM OF £5.00

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLUBS

The following information is extracted from the Association Competition Rules for easy basic guidance.  Clubs should study the whole of the Rules and Regulations that appear in the Association Handbook supplied.

·         It is the duty of the HOME CLUB to confirm appointment with both Referee and, where appointed, Assistant Referees, as well as the visiting team with directions to the ground and choice of colours.

·         RESULTS to be telephoned in by the HOME CLUB within TWO HOURS OF THE CONCLUSION OF THE MATCH to the Assistant Honorary Secretary, Mr K F Mighall 651 1205 or the alternative number 334 3545 WHICH IS FOR RESULTS ONLY.

·         ALL CLUBS are reminded that the Official Team Sheet supplied must be submitted to the Assistant Honorary Secretary, Mr K F Mighall, 12 Dorchester Park, Noctorum Wirral CH43 9HD and must be SIGNED and contain TEAM NAMES AND MATCH REFEREE details.  Failure to do so will result in a fine being imposed. 

·         ALL CLUBS must indicate (as shown) next to the Referee’s name on the team sheet provided, marks up to a maximum of TEN points.  Any mark below five points must be accompanied by a detailed report of the reason for same.  Failure to indicate referee’s marks or submit a report if required, will result in a fine of £5.00 being imposed.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOTH OFFICIALS AND CLUBS

 If a tie is abandoned as a result of misconduct, the Council shall have the power to strike the Club responsible out of the Competition.

Names of maximum 5 (five) substitutes MUST be submitted to the Referee prior to the game commencing.  See Rule 25(a) for substitutes allowed.

Ties that are postponed on the Conference Date shall be replayed the following week.

In all ties where Assistant Referees are appointed, it is the duty of the HOME CLUB to ensure that the playing area is totally roped off
